Introduction to Clowning

There are 3 different types of clown:

Auguste

A joker or fool character. He is sometimes given tasks to do by Eccentric which go wrong, leading to funny situations.

Eccentric

Uses exaggerated movements and gestures to create physical humour. He tells the story through his body. 

Naïve

A fool that’s just happy to be there. Often follows Auguste around, trying to keep up. He finds the joy in any situation, no matter how foolish.
